Next weather maker moving into the region
BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) —
Our next weather maker is moving into the region with a low pressure system currently off the Oregon coast turning inland tonight.
We are already seeing winds increase as rain is moving into the region along with the potential for isolated thunderstorms tonight beginning around 7:00pm.
An accompanying cold front will move into the region overnight dipping temperatures around 10 degrees below normal with a northwest wind making it feel even cooler.
Showers will continue on Monday as the cold front pushes into eastern Idaho and by the afternoon there is slight chance of thunderstorms returns.
Shower development is expected to retreat to the mountains for Monday night as the low pressure system moves east.
