Angela Kerndl

Angela is excited to call Boise her new home!

She’s from the Chicago area and graduated from the University of Illinois in 2019. There she got to work as a photographer for her school newspaper and report for her local NPR member station. While in college, she also got to study in Mexico City and Hong Kong.

She began her journalism career in Yakima, Wash. She’s passionate about telling impactful stories and giving a voice to the voiceless. Her favorite stories to report on are agriculture, labor issues, and housing availability.

In her free time, you can find her playing tennis, skiing, hiking, or reading.
