Kellen Moore named offensive coordinator for Dallas Cowboys

There's rising up the ranks. And then there's Kellen Moore's interpretation of that.

On Thursday, the Dallas Cowboys named the former Boise State quarterback as its next offensive coordinator.

As quarterbacks coach, Moore helped Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott to the playoffs, in which the Cowboys lost to the Los Angeles Rams in the divisional round, 30-22.

"He's special," Prescott said in a radio interview via the team's website. He knows a lot about the game, just the way he sees the game, the way he's ahead of the game. He can bring a lot to us, a lot of creativity."

Moore joined the Cowboys in 2015 after spending time with the Detroit Lions.
