Boise State will be well represented in next week's NCAA West Preliminary Championships in Austin, Texas.

The program says Boise State will send a total of 14 athletes – seven from the women’s team and seven for the men – to compete in Austin, Texas from May 25-27.

The 14 athletes will represent 17 total entries with Allie Ostrander (3,000m steeplechase and 5,000m) and Alexandru Terpezan (100m and 200m) both doubling along with the men’s 4x400m relay team of Terpezan, Fernando Martinez, Bryce Kirby and Dusty Fisher accounting for the extra entries.

The seven athletes on the women’s side is the most for the Broncos at an NCAA West Preliminary Championship in head coach Corey Ihmels’ four-year tenure at Boise State. The seven athletes representing the men’s team is the most since 2014 when the Blue and Orange sent eight in Ihmels’ first year at the helm.
