Daughter of LDS Church President Russell M. Nelson passes
SALT LAKE CITY —
The daughter of the President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has died.
Wendy Nelson Maxfield, daughter of LDS Church President Russell M. Nelson and Dantzel White Nelson, died Friday afternoon. She was 67.
According to the official statement released from the Church, Maxfield died peacefully in her home after battling cancer. The statement also read:
We express our love to the entire Nelson and Maxfield family as they remember her life and mourn her passing.
Maxfield is remembered through her husband Norman, her seven children and 20 grandchildren.
