Woman who died after being hit by concrete truck on Eagle Road has been identified

A 26-year-old woman is dead after a concrete truck struck her Tuesday at the corner of Eagle Road and Ustick Road.

The woman who died after being hit by a concrete truck Tuesday afternoon on Eagle and Ustick Road has been identified.

The Ada County Coroner identified the woman as 26-year-old Sandy Jaqueline Hernandez-Nuno.

She died at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical after the crash.

Police say the truck was turning east onto Ustick Road from Eagle Road when Hernandez-Nuno was walking south in in the crosswalk. They say she was struck by the right front tire of the truck.

Hernandez-Nuno was reported by police as a 27-year-old but after further information from the coroner, it was stated she was 26-years-old.
