Two injured in crash after driver falls asleep on Highway 95 near New Meadows
NEW MEADOWS, Idaho (KBOI) —
Two Wash. state residents have been injured in a single vehicle crash on Highway 95 near New Meadows.
Idaho State Police says 32-year-old Ryan Granlund of Ephrata, Wash., fell asleep while he was driving north Tuesday morning. ISP says his vehicle drifted across the southbound lanes into a borrow pit and eventually collided with a power pole, which fell across the highway with live wires.
Granlund and his passenger were later transported to St. Luke's in McCall. The highway was blocked for three hours.
It's unclear at this time how severe their injuries are at this time.
