SWAT team takes down domestic violence suspect in Post Falls
POST FALLS, Idaho (CBS 2) —
A 44-year-old Post Falls man has been taken into custody after an alleged domestic violence incident.
The Kootenai County Sheriff's Office says deputies were called out to the 4600 block of E. Woodland Drive Halloween night after dispatchers heard someone screaming in the background of a 911 call.
Police arrived and found a female who appeared to be a victim of domestic violence. The suspect, William P. Plummer, would not respond and barricaded himself inside the home, deputies say.
The sheriff's office deployed the Kootenai County Multi-Agency SWAT team and took him into custody.
Plummer has been charged with felony domestic battery in the presence of a child and attempted strangulation.
