Suspect gets away from deputies at Boise Airport, taken into custody nearby

    A man being taken to Twin Falls through the Boise Airport escaped and was later found nearby Thursday afternoon.

    The suspect was identified by police as 29-year-old Jacob Coomer, of Southside, Tennessee.

    Police say Coomer took off running near the parking lot at around 4:45 p.m.

    Boise Police was called to assist and the suspect was taken into custody near W Airport Way & W Wright St.

    No injuries are reported.

    Coomer was picked up in Hillsboro Missouri, on a no bond warrant for a probation violation out of Twin Falls County. He was being held at the Jefferson County jail.

    Croomer was taken to Twin Falls and booked into jail, police say.

    According to court documents Croomer pleaded guilty to a felony drug possession charge in April 2018.

    He was sentenced to 5 years in prison, with 3 years fixed. The Judge agreed to probation instead, along with some jail time and community service.
