Southeast Boise marks highest assessed values jump in Ada County
BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) —
Assessed values climbed 14 percent in Southeast Boise compared to last year, according to the Ada County Assessor's office.
It's the highest jump in Ada County, says County Assessor Robert McQuade.
And local realtors we talked to say that proves the popularity of this part of town.
"I found that in the last three months, there's been some $70 million in sales just in that area," said realtor Cindy Paulsen referring to the Intermountain Multiple Listing Service. "We only have 50 properties available on the market, three of which are new builds, all the rest are resale."
Southeast Boise is the place to be because of its proximity to almost everything, realtors say.
"All of downtown, the river, the Greenbelt," Paulsen said. "it's a very popular."
