BOISE, Idaho — Little to no clouds are in the forecast today. We will see sunny skies for most of the day.
The only chance of anything interrupting the clear skies could be some inversion that may build in the Valley today. However, light winds in the upper Valley should keep that inversion from building.
The lower Valley may be more likely to experience inversion today.
Coastal winds will pull in more warm air over the next couple of days. Temperatures will stay in the mid to high 30s today and tomorrow, but by the weekend, we will see highs jump above average.
Along with the warm-up, a high-pressure system that kept us dry has weakened, and storms are lining up off the coast.
Models show a storm system that is set to move through the Gem State on Sunday. Otherwise, we will stay dry before then.
We'll keep you updated if anything changes.
