MERIDIAN, Idaho (CBS2) — Idaho State Police as well as Boise and Meridian Fire crews have successfully put out a fire that broke out a semi-truck near the Meridian Rd. exit on I-84. The call came in around 7:00 pm on Wednesday evening.
The semi-truck carrying vegetables was heading westbound when the fire started.
Two left lanes westbound are closed while crews clean up debris, drivers are advised to avoid that area. All lanes are expected to be back open before the Thursday morning commute.
The cause is still under investigation and this time. No one was injured in the fire.
