Administration at Centennial High School investigated a reported threat posted on a social media account.

In a letter sent to parents, Principal Mike Farris says a student sent a photograph to a Centennial High School social media account. The photo showed a gun with the message "here I come."

Farris says administration and law enforcement officials investigated, and found the student responsible. Investigators say the photograph was taken in a law enforcement class last year, during a demonstration by officers who were guests speakers.

There was no weapon on campus today, the principal said.

"The administration at Centennial High School and our Boise Police Department partners take all threats seriously, and through our investigation we were able to verify that our students were safe." Fariss' letter said.
