Elderly woman hit by car last week succumbs to injuries
BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) —
A woman who was struck by a car on Ustick Road on Dec. 19th has passed away.
Ada County Coroner says the 68-year-old woman's name was Barbara Marie Whittaker.
She died in the hospital. The cause of death is blunt force trauma due to motor vehicle vs. pedestrian accident.
Whittaker was struck on West Ustick Road and North Constantine Street in Boise at 5:30 PM police say. She was transported to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the car remained on the scene cooperating with investigators. The crash investigation remains ongoing.
