Driver ejected from mail truck in Parma crash
PARMA, Idaho (KBOI) —
A driver in a United States Postal Service mail truck has been air-lifted to a local hospital after she was hit from behind on Highway 26 near Parma.
Police tell KBOI 2News the driver of the mail truck, 45-year-old Shea Hurd, of Parma, was attempting to make a left turn when she was read-ended by the driver of a Ford pickup, 33-year-old Sean Moore, of Oregon House, Calif.
She was ejected from the vehicle and then air-lifted to a local hospital. The extent of her injuries is not known.
No one in the pickup truck was hurt. Moore was wearing his seatbelt, but it's unknown if Hurd was.
The crash is under investigation.
