No Surprise Here: Boise rent prices continue to climb
BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) —
Your pocket book is continuing to get pinched in the Boise rental market.
According to ApartmentList.com, Boise rent prices have increased 1.1 percent over the past month and more than 3 percent this time last year. If you're looking to rent a one-bedroom apartment in the City of Trees, you're looking at an average of $710 a month. If it's a two-bedroom unit you're looking for, expect to pay on average about $920 a month.
But the news could be worse. The two-bedroom pricing is well below the national average of $1,170.
And it's nothing compared to San Francisco, which currently $3,070 a month for a two-bedroom unit. Seattle actually saw a decrease of pricing with an average drop of .8 percent.
