A man was arrested at the Boise Airport after TSA discovered a knife and marijuana hidden in his shoes.

Boise Police seized the knife and took the passenger, 67-year-old Donald Lee Jackson, into custody shortly after 7 p.m. Friday.

Investigators learned Jackson willfully and intentionally concealed a seven-inch fixed blade knife under the insole of his shoe.

Officers say Jackson also hid a small amount of leafy green substance, which later tested presumptive positive as marijuana, in his other shoe.

Boise Police say there is no indication Jackson wanted to hurt anyone. He said he was just trying to take the knife to his final destination.

Jackson has been charged with Aircraft Hijacking - Prohibits Carrying Concealed Weapons On Aircraft By Avoiding Detection and Misdemeanor Drug Paraphernalia Use Or Posses With Intent To Use.
