Linder Farms begins hiring for fall season

This will be Linder Farms' fourteenth year in operation.

The folks at Linder Farms are gearing up for fall fun.

They held open interviews on Saturday for positions ranging from running the petting zoo to driving tractors for hayrides.

This will be Linder Farms' fourteenth year in operation. The owners say that by the end of every season their employees become like family.

Each year they hire more than two-hundred people, so the owners say they can find the right spot for anyone.

"It’s kind of interesting, we’ve dealt with kids [with] all different abilities,” said Sherrie Freist, Linder Farms Owner. “We have kids coming in with developmental delays, who have jobs coaches, and yet they do an amazing job. We find the right spot for them once we position them. Then, we have adults who are like ‘hey, I need Christmas money! I want to drive a tractor.” Yes! We need you.”

Anyone who missed today's interview day and would like to apply can go to the Linder Farms website, print out an application, fill it out, and drop it off Tuesday night between 6 and 8:30 p.m.

If you're not looking to work but still want to enjoy the fun of Linder Farms the season officially starts September 22nd.
