The Lee Pesky Learning Center has received a $1 million grant from the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare.

The education non-profit says the community grant will expand the "depth and breadth of LPLC’s evaluation, counseling, and academic services."

“The Community Program Grant awarded by the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare will create lasting and meaningful change for young people across the state," said Dr. Lindy Crawford, executive director. "Lee Pesky Learning Center is honored to receive this funding and excited to expand our services.”

Additionally, DHW’s funding will strengthen reading intervention services for small groups of English language learners, Lee Pesky says.
