ISP: Two Pocatello men busted with more than a half-pound of heroin
POCATELLO, Idaho (KBOI) —
Two Pocatello men are accused of being in possession of more than a half-pound worth of heroin -- one of the biggest heroin busts ever in southeastern Idaho.
Idaho State Police says troopers arrested Miles A. Prescott, 27, and Daniel A.J. Shinney, 28, on trafficking charges while they were driving on Interstate-15 south of Pocatello Thursday night.
Prescott and Shinney were in possession of 268.6 grams of heroin and other drug paraphernalia when they were arrested, troopers say.
The arrests were the culmination of a heroin trafficking investigation. They've been booked into the Bannock County Jail.
