Troopers: Drunk driver plows into ambulance with patient inside on Highway 95
COEUR d'ALENE, Idaho (CBS 2) —
A 24-year-old Utah man is accused of driving drunk and crashing into an ambulance in northern Idaho.
Idaho State Police says Matthew T. Johnson of Park City, Utah was driving south on Highway 95 Thursday night when his truck collided with a Kootenai County EMS ambulance that was heading north.
The driver and the patient were treated and released at Kootenai Health.
"Thankfully, no one was seriously injured in the crash," ISP wrote on Twitter.
Troopers said in the social media post that Johnson was arrested after the crash.
