Idaho Transportation Department announced Sunday morning that a section of Interstate 15, from Dubois, at milepost 167, to the Montana border, at milepost 196, is closed, until further notice.

The press release stated that the reason for the closure was that high winds, blowing snow, and reduced visibility made the interstate too dangerous to drive on.

This is a developing story, and we will continue to update this post as new information becomes available.
