Idaho representative asks for 'Idaho Fake News' nominations
BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) —
Priscilla Giddings, a representative from northern Idaho released a YouTube video Saturday calling for "Idaho Fake News" nominations.
"When we heard about President Trump's Fake News Awards, we thought we should recognize fake news in Idaho too." Giddings said.
Giddings says conservative legislators will be taking nominations for the Idaho Fake News Awards. She says nominations can be submitted to Idahofakenews@gmail.com.
According to Giddings, the awards will be presented at the end of the Idaho legislative session in March.
"Don't believe everything you hear from Idaho media," Giddings says. "And if you can prove it's fake, let us know."
