Idaho Gives: How to support local non-profits

Idaho Gives is taking place this week. The program aims to bring the state together, raising money and awareness for Idaho non-profits.

CBS2 has a long history of supporting Idaho nonprofits. We're taking part in several drives right now.

To celebrate the fair’s 125th anniversary, we teamed up with the Western Idaho Fair and are asking 125 people or community groups to make a $125 donation to the foodbank.

Every dollar you give provides four meals for hungry families in the state. DONATE HERE.

We're also encouraging donations to The Salvation Army, which provides services to Idaho families.

There are a large number of organizations on the front lines of suicide prevention.

The Idaho suicide prevention hotline operates 24/7. DONATE HERE.

One More Day exists for Veterans and their families. DONATE HERE.

Idaho is fortunate to have a large number of nonprofits supporting pets.

CBS2 teams up with the West Valley Humane Society each week to highlight a pet of the week that is available for adoption. Thanks to your support, many pets already have forever homes. DONATE HERE.

The Idaho Humane Society also has a long history of supporting pets and their caretakers in the Treasure Valley. DONATE HERE.
