Idaho City saw quite its fair share of snow this weekend, into Monday.

They and many other Idaho cities are in a winter weather warning, going into Wednesday.

The heavy snowfall also forced the Basin School District to cancel classes, Monday.

And, the owner of Harley's Pub, Cathy Staneart, said students aren't the only ones staying home.

Several stores in town chose to not open their doors, for the day.

CBS 2 News spoke with Staneart who said the new snow brought a new set of problems for the area.

"They do all the winter sports up here,” Staneart said. “But, due to lack of snow, that hasn't happened. And, now look at us. This week is just we've been dumped on about 12 inches day before yesterday and at least that and still going today."

Staneart said that two snow plows work on Highway 21, during these situations. But, the snow was falling almost as fast as the plows could work.
