BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — Boise Valley Habitat for Humanity has partnered with Jannus, Inc. to deliver playhouses to families in need.
The Playhouse Program gives groups and individuals a day of building playhouses that are donated to local children or child-serving organizations.
“We are excited to be partnering with Jannus, Inc. on such a fun community project,” said Janessa Chastain, Boise Valley Habitat for Humanity executive director. “Our Playhouse Program represents the joy that comes with having a space that you can play in, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have this partnership.”
To sponsor a build, companies make a minimum donation of $2,500 per playhouse to support the cost of their group's build day and benefit Habitat’s affordable homeownership programs and services.
“Jannus, Inc. is proud to partner with Boise Valley Habitat for Humanity on the Playhouse Program,” said Kimber Russell, Economic Opportunity by Jannus, Inc. assistant director. “Through this partnership, our families’ children can have a space to call and take as their own.”
