BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — One man is dead after a house fire near Twin Falls this morning.
Fire fighters from three agencies responded to to a fire call in Murtaugh at 7:59 a.m. after someone reported the home on fire.
First responders arrived to the home fully engulfed in flames.
Of the six residents, only two were at home when the fire started.
One man was able to get out of the home through a back-bedroom window. He was taken by ground ambulance to St. Luke’s Magic Valley to be treated for lacerations and evaluated for smoke inhalation.
The second man was found deceased in the home.
The home and several vehicles were destroyed in the fire.
The State Fire Marshall is currently on scene conducting an investigation and the cause is unknown.
Rock Creek Fire, Twin Falls City Fire, Burley Fire, Magic Valley Paramedics, and Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Deputies responded.
