Elmore County burglary suspect extradited back to Idaho

Elmore County deputies say burglary suspect, Marissa Dempsey, is now back in Idaho after being caught in Tucson, Arizona.

A burglary suspect in Elmore County is now back in Idaho, and set to be arraigned today.

Deputies say Marissa Dempsey is charged with eight counts of burglary, five counts of grand theft, and three counts of petit theft.

Back in June, deputies were looking for Dempsey after a rash of burglaries in Mountain Home, Hammett, Glenns Ferry and various rural Elmore County areas. The burglaries all happened between March 29 and May 3. In July, police in Tucson, Arizona arrested Dempsey. She was then recently extradited back to Idaho without bond. The sheriff's office says it didn't cost Elmore County to extradite her.

Deputies attempted to interview Dempsey when she returned.
