A foot of fresh snow has welcomed the start of the ski season at Brundage Mountain this weekend.

The triple chairlift, Easy Street, is set to run from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday for free.

Brundage Resort says it's six to nine inch base will allow the run to be groomed.

The steeper and rockier upper mountain run will remain closed until the mountain receives more snow.

In addition to Easy Street Lift opening, the front-side of the mountain will also allow for uphill travel. Hikers are required to sign in at the Uphill Travel Kiosk before beginning their climb. Brundage Mountain urges visitors to leave pets at home or in vehicles.

Smoky's Bar & Grill, The Fall Line Shop and guest services will be open through the weekend.

No weekday operations are planned at this time. For the latest updates on Brundage Mountain’s operating plans, check its snow report.
