On Friday July 20 and Saturday July 21, you can have the thrill of a lifetime at the Sun Valley Road Rally and contribute to a good cause.

Participants in the 10th annual road rally, which starts at 7:30 a.m. Saturday July 21 at Gannett Road near Bellevue, come from all over the world to experience driving at top speed on five miles of closed off public road, specifically Gannett Road near Bellevue.

The cars are out of this world: Porsches, Corvettes, Ford GTs to name a few. They can be seen up close on Friday, July 21, from 8 a.m. to 12 pm at Silver Creek Ford in Hailey.

Spectators can enjoy the view and share the rush as the cars fly by.

It’s not a race but times are posted and last year’s fastest was 202 mph.

Best of all, the money goes to a good cause: the Blaine County Drug Coalition to benefit area kids, help them make healthy choices and discover things they may be passionate about.
