BPD: Detectives searching for man who stole from cemetery headstones
BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) —
Boise Police is looking to speak with a man who may have stolen over 200 vases from headstones across three cemeteries in the Treasure Valley.
Police identified 22-year-old Aspen Curtis after locating evidence related to the thefts.
The thefts happened at three cemeteries in Boise and in Canyon County. It is believed the thefts happened from late September to the time they were reported in late December.
Curtis is about 6 feet tall and weighs 200 pounds. He has brown hair and green eyes and is expected to be driving either a green 2000 GMC "Jimmy" or a silver 1991 Lexus 400. Both cars have Owyhee County plates. Curtis is believed to be staying at different parts of the Treasure Valley.
