The Cinder Butte Fire, located between Burns and Bend, Oregon, south of Highway 20 has burned over 50,000 acres of brush and grassland since it ignited Wednesday afternoon.

Video sent to KBOI 2News shows crews near Oregon State University's Eastern Oregon Agricultural Research Center rushing to herd cattle out of the fire area to safety.

The university says the crews were able to safely move all 280 cows to two different locations over the last two days.

The fire is currently 9 percent contained, according to the information page on Inciweb.
