Coroner identifies young girl killed in April car fire; parents arrested
BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) —
The Ada County Coroner's Office has identified the 4-year-old girl who died in a April vehicle fire on Overland Road.
Officials say Alliee Rose was found dead after a portable heating device inside the car started the fire. A toddler was also hurt in the blaze and sustained serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
Boise Police says the girl's parents, Jennifer A. Miller, 31, and Nicolas Rose, 26, have both been arrested on charges related to the fire. BPD says the toddler was in the presence of a controlled substance, which led to a felony injury to a child charge.
Rose has been booked on felony burglary and petty theft charges after police say he stole the heating device from a local business.
The investigation into the fire continues.
