Chobani announced Tuesday its launching Chobani Pantry to help local food banks across the U.S.

Chobani will send a "truck-a-day" for the foreseeable future to food banks who need supplies.

"[It's] a new way to help our heroes at local food banks who will be providing critical support to families in the weeks and months ahead," a Chobani spokesperson said.

Chobani said this is just another step in helping feed those in need. The company said it donated one million cups of yogurt to communities in just the past few weeks.

They are also helping Feeding America through online advertising and social media.

"Chobani vehicles will visit hospitals, food banks, and other places where front line workers need and deserve nutritious food across America," Chobani said. "Including New York City, Chicago, Atlanta and Detroit."

Chobani said they will be expanding this effort in the coming weeks.
