BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) — Police say a suspect has been injured in an officer-involved shooting near Fairview and Maple Grove.
Boise Police say they responded to a call just before 11:30 p.m. about suspicious activity inside the Jack in the Box.
Officers say when they arrived on scene, a man ran from them and displayed a firearm. Police say the man refused to stop, that's when police fired at the suspect, injuring him.
Police identified the man as Dakota Morris, 22, and say he is still in the hospital recovering, but once he is release he will be taken into custody for an existing arrest warrant and additional felony charges for what happened overnight.
Officers say they are also looking for a woman they say left the scene before they arrived.
Police are identifying her as Dallis Morris, 20, and say they would like to talk to her because she has information about what happened.
No officers were injured in the shooting.
The officers involved in the shooting are all on administrative leave while the investigation is conducted. BPD identified the officers as Officer M. Plaisted, Officer V. Moreno, and Officer T. Schneider.
The Critical Incident Task Force, lead by the Ada County Sheriff's Office, is investigating. BPD says there is video from the officers' bodycams that has been given to the investigators.
