26-year-old Boise man identified as shooting victim in Lakeharbor Lane homicide

BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — The Ada County Coroner's Office identified the male victim in a shooting at a Lakeharbor Lane apartment in Boise.

At approximately 2:24 a.m. on Tuesday, the Ada County Coroner's Office was dispatched to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise. Twenty-six-year-old Maximilian Myers from Boise was pronounced dead in the operating room after lifesaving measures were unsuccessful.

The coroner's office says the cause of death was a gunshot wound to the abdomen. The manner of death was a homicide.

Boise City Police Department is conducting the investigation.
