Boise e-scooter, vehicle crash sends one man to the hospital

BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — One man was sent to the hospital Tuesday after getting into a crash involving an e-scooter and another vehicle.

Boise Police are investigating the crash at 8th and Myrtle Streets. BPD said the man riding the scooter was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

All lanes are back open on Myrtle.

Here's what BPD said happened: A preliminary investigation shows that a driver traveling east on Myrtle collided with a scooter rider and then a second vehicle at 8th Street. The scooter was traveling south on 8th street. The second vehicle was traveling north on 8th street. No other injuries were reported.

The crash is still under investigation.
