4-week-old baby seriously injured in dog attack inside Kuna home
KUNA, Idaho (KBOI) —
A 4-week-old baby was seriously injured earlier this week after being attacked by a dog inside a Kuna home.
The Ada County Sheriff's Office says a woman was loading items into a vehicle in her garage at a home near Linder Road and Sagwon Drive while the baby was placed in a baby swing in the living room.
The woman told detectives she checked on the boy between trips to the truck, but when she returned from her final trip, she saw the boy on the ground and visibly injured. Three Dachshund dogs live in the home and it's believed that one of them got up on the swing and attacked the baby -- knocking him to the ground.
The boy is being treated at a local hospital. She told police that the dog did not have a history of aggression or biting.
No charges have been filed as of Wednesday.
