22-year-old man dies from shooting, Boise man charged with second-degree murder

BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — A 22-year-old man who was shot inside a home on the Boise Bench has died.

Boise Police says James Cuellar died Friday morning.

On Jan. 15, officers were called to a home on the 2100 block of S. Owyhee Street for a report of a shooting. Police say Jed Earls, 31, of Boise shot Cuellar following an argument.

Earls is being held at the Ada County Jail. He originally was charged with aggravated battery but is now charged with second-degree murder.
