A sixth-grade eCYBERMISSION team from Eagle finished in the West Regional Finals!

The team, Cloudy with a chance of Robotics, was the West Region's finalist for 2022!

The students will now compete in the National Competition, on June 17th to July first.

The Idaho STEM Action Center is offering congratulations to this STEM team.

"Congratulations to the team "Cloudy with a chance of Robotics" from Eagle, #Idaho! The team is the 6th-grade national finalist for the West region and will be heading to Washington, D.C., in June to compete at the national level."

eCYBERMISSION is a virtual stem competition for sixth through ninth graders,

The competition is virtual, but the team isn't letting that slow them down!

Their coach says while they are going for the gold, it's a valuable learning experience for all.

"Their coding knowledge just goes through the roof," explains Coach Gina Kwid. "It's competitive, but it's fun. And we have developed friendships with kids across the world!"

With two to four person teams, students along with their adult advisor are tasked with solving a community problem to explore or try to solve.
