Nate grew up in Northern Utah, where, similar to Idaho, the weather can change drastically in just 15 minutes. He’s had a passion for weather his whole life and remembers as a young boy insisting that he stay up past bedtime to watch the weather on the 10 o'clock news.
He attended the University of Utah and graduated with a degree in Atmospheric Sciences in May of 2015. From there he moved his family just a few short hours north to Pocatello where he landed his first job as a broadcast meteorologist with KPVI. After a few short years on the windy side of the state, he's excited to live and work here in the Treasure Valley.
Nate is married and has two sons. He and his wife love to travel, hike, kayak, snow ski, essentially anything outdoors, and enjoy the local parks with their two sons.
