Stampede takes over first place in division

BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - Trailing by 12 at the half, Idaho stormed back to force overtime, and then beat Santa Cruz, 119-118. The win gives the Stampede sole possession of first place in the West Division.

Six players recorded double-figures in scoring for Idaho. Dee Bost led the way with 30 points.

With the win, the Stampede is 13-8 and leads the Warriors by one game in the West. The team improves to 7-5 at CenturyLink Arena.

The game featured five lead changes and seven ties. Idaho travels to play at Rio Grande Valley on Wednesday, January 22. Tip is set for 6 p.m. MST.
