Stampede falls in McCullom's debut

Portland Trailblazers' first-round pick C.J. McCollum made his professional debut Friday night.

It was with the Idaho Stampede, though.

The Lehigh alum is rehabbing from a foot injury.

McCollum, the 10th pick in the 2013 NBA Draft, played 17 minutes and scored 13 points in Idaho's 109-104 loss to Rio Grande Valley. McCollum also added six assists and six rebounds.

The loss drops Idaho to 9-6. The Vipers improve to 13-2.

The two squads square off against Saturday night on 7 p.m. Inside CenturyLink Arena.
