Hawks win first game of Wednesday's doubleheader with walk-off bunt

BOISE, Idaho - A wild throw on a bunt single by Jacob Hannemann in the bottom of the seventh allowed the tying and winning runs to score, as the Boise Hawks ended a four-game losing streak with a 4-3 victory over the Hillsboro Hops in Game 1 of a doubleheader at Memorial Stadium.

Trailing 3-2 in the seventh, David Bote was hit by a pitch and Carlos Penalver had a bunt single. Hannemann followed with a perfect bunt down the third base line, with Jordan Parr's throw going down the first base line, allowing Bote to score. As Hannemann ran toward second, no one was at home plate, allowing Penalver to scamper home with the winning run.
