What to wear for Bronco games

BOISE, Idaho - Boise State announced color schemes for each of its six 2014 home football games Tuesday.

The Broncos will host a Blue Out against Colorado State (Sept. 6), an Orange Out against Fresno State (Oct. 17) and a Black Out against San Diego State (Nov. 15).

A tri-color scheme has been created for Louisiana-Lafayette (Sept. 20), and a blue-and-orange scheme has been created for BYU (Oct. 24).

For the regular-season home finale against Utah State (Nov. 29), fans are asked to wear their favorite Bronco gear, regardless of color.

For road games, fans are encouraged to wear orange against Ole Miss (Aug. 28), Connecticut (Sept. 13), Air Force (Sept. 27) and Nevada (Oct. 4), and blue against both New Mexico (Nov. 8) and Wyoming (Nov. 22).

The Broncos are entering their first season under head coach Bryan Harsin, a former Bronco quarterback (1995-99) who also served on the coaching staff from 2001-10. With Harsin as offensive coordinator from 2006-10, Boise State went 61-5, including undefeated seasons in 2006 (13-0) and 2009 (14-0). The Broncos scored 2,733 points during that time, the most in the country.
