Two Bronco games moved to Friday
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Boise State football team's 2014 home games against Fresno State and BYU have been moved to Friday to accommodate television, the Mountain West announced Thursday.
Each game will be televised on either ESPN or ESPN2.
The Broncos' game against the Bulldogs will be broadcast by ESPN, and is now scheduled for Oct. 17, with a kick time of 6 p.m.
Boise State's game against the Cougars will kick at 7 p.m., Oct. 24, and will be broadcast by either ESPN or ESPN2.
The remaining national broadcast schedule for ESPN and CBS Sports Network is expected to be announced in the coming weeks, and it is anticipated that all remaining league-controlled games on the 2014 schedule will be played on Saturdays.
The Broncos currently have three non-Saturday games scheduled for 2014, including the season opener, the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game against Ole Miss at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. The game against the Rebels is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 28.
Boise State is 35-6 all-time in non-Saturday games during the regular season, and 74-16 on national television since 1996.
