Former BSU coach Prince hired by Detroit Lions

The dream for college football players is to be playing in the NFL on Sundays.

For some, their coach will now be coaching on that day.

Former Boise State offensive coordinator Robert Prince was hired by the NFL's Detroit Lions as their new wide receivers coach. Prince spent the past three seasons with the Broncos. This was his second stint with BSU. He was not retained by newly-hired head coach Bryan Harsin. Harsin hired Mike Sanford as his offensive coordinator.

Prince has NFL coaching experience. He previously spent time on the staff in Atlanta, Jacksonville and Seattle.
