Did the Broncos give fullbacks the boot?

(KBOI) - When Jamal Wilson transferred from Boise State to the University of Montana, it also meant the only fullback on the roster left town.

According to Wilson's new head coach, Mick Delaney, there's a reason for BSU's lack of a fullback. Delaney told the Missoulian newspaper, "Jamal Wilson is an outstanding fullback, who is transferring from Boise State because they are not going to employ a fullback in their new offense."

Boise State's Max Corbet told KBOI 2 Sports on Tuesday that the last time he spoke with head coach Chris Petersen about the depth chart, Coach Pete listed fullback among the positions. He added, the Broncos often use tight ends and other players in that position.
