At least 8 reported dead after shooting at Plano, Texas home

Eight people were killed at a home in Plano, Texas, on Sunday evening.

Police reportedly fatally shot the attacker.

The victims, who have yet to be identified, were all adults, according to WFAA.

More than 30 police units were at the scene at 9:30 p.m. local time.

Plano police spokesman David Tilley says police initially responded to a report of shots fired, according to The Associated Press.

When the first officer arrived and went inside the home, the officer confronted the suspected shooter.

Tilley says the officer opened fire, killing the suspect.

Two others were injured in the shooting. Their conditions have not been released.

Additional details were not immediately available. An investigation is ongoing.
