Woman found dead in house fire identified

NAMPA, Idaho - Authorities in Canyon County have identified the woman found dead in a house fire last week.

The Canyon County Sheriff's Office says 53-year-old Lorinda Wallers of Homedale was found dead in the home located on the 15000 block of Missouri Avenue Wednesday.

A cause of death has not been determined pending toxicology reports.

Canyon County Sheriff's Lt. Dania Ballard says the fire was contained to the kitchen and attic of the home.

The Upper Deer Flat Fire Department and the Nampa Fire Department put out the fire shortly after arriving.

Ballard says an autopsy will be conducted.
